In order to reinvent the education of the younger generation and provide retraining for the older ones, San Carlos University, the premier university of the South has recently inked a three-year contract with Yapster e-Learning, provider of online education and training.
The agreement provides high school and college Carolinians with 2,000 International Computer Driving Licenses (ICDL) as well as integrated computer learning in the new teaching curriculum.
The ICDL is one of Yapster e-Learning's more popular courses. It contains lessons on basic computer operations, and extends all the way to word processing, preparing spreadsheets and presentations, and using the World Wide Web. For more advanced students, a series of certification preparation programs like Web Authoring, Web Programming, and Internet Technologies among others.
