Foremost school San Sebastian College now offers e-learning courses as part of their continuous campaign to push further learning for students, according to OAR President Rev. Constantino Real.
The new curriculum includes e-learning courses on Information Technology (IT), software engineering, data communications, web design and development among others that shall be offered to all San Sebastian students. These courses are aimed to make the students more competitive when they graduate through enhancement of their IT skills.
"Today's learning scenario is far different from that 20 years ago. Information and developments abound and it has become both a challenge and an opportunity to turn these into real benefits for our students, but with e-learning we can achieve just this" declares Rev. Real during the launch of the new curriculum.
E-learning or the use of network technologies to deliver and facilitate learning anytime and anywhere has been proven by WR Hambrecht + Co to increase retention rates by as much as 50-60%, and speed up the learning curve by 50% as compared to the regular classroom training.
