FPI deploys Japanese-developed eLearning Courses via Yapster’s Newest LMS

Fujitsu Philippines Inc. (FPI), being one of the country's leading Information and Communications Technology (ICT) system integrators recently adopted one powerful, multilingual learning management system (LMS) from Yapster e-Learning to support live, online and blended e-Learning approaches.

The new LMS will now deliver AICC/SCORM compliant Japanese-developed training modules through its training partner Philnits to provide a better system of delivering instruction to trainees who needs IT certification.

With the new system accessible via the Internet or Intranet systems, learners can register for, enroll in and withdraw from courses; take online tests, surveys and evaluations; communicate with other learners and instructors using mail and message boards; receive up-to-date course-related news; review their transcripts; choose a look and feel for the user interface; and select their own language.

On the other hand, module facilitators and administrators can setup online, live/instructor-led and blended e-Learning sessions, enrollment policies, cost account, create Knowledge Centers; create and deliver skills tests and certification programs, run standard and custom reports, and basically manage the entire learning process.

“We’ve got IT online courses made in Japan. But we need a well-constructed e-learning management tool that is highly interoperable with these courses and comprehensively delivers and tracks utilization records. It’s the potential of Yapster’s learning management system we wanted maximized to improve our way of delivering instruction.” – MR. Felipe Manalang, FPI, President.

With these developments, FPI is now in the league of respected Philippine companies/schools like Pfizer Philippines, Aboitiz & Co., Technological Institute of the Philippines and also leading multinational companies like Cathay Pacific Airways, HSBC Group and Visa International who trusted this learning management system to support wide-range of organizational needs.

In addition to the new LMS, FPI also initiated custom course development by acquiring Lectora, a world-renowned content authoring and publishing tool also distributed by Yapster e-Learning.
