Assumption College in San Lorenzo Village recently expanded their IT curriculum to now include e-Learning classes provided by Yapster e-Learning, Inc. starting October 2002.

With this, Assumption college students shall have access to online courses that contains basic to advanced IT learning modules as well as Accounting courses.

Sr. Gertrude Borres, RA, College Dean, signed up in behalf of Assumption College for a partnership with Yapster e-Learning which allows for International Computer Driving Licenses (ICDL) for use by Assumption students. The ICDL, one of Yapster e-Learning's more popular courses contains lessons on basic computer lessons and extends all the way to word processing, preparing spreadsheets and presentations and using the World Wide Web.
